Tailoring Apprentice Agreement Form

During my recent visit to Nasarawa State in northern Nigeria, I spoke with a tailor in Lafia, the state capital. She had learned to sew after the baccalaureate because she was not sure she could study, but as fate would have it, she had the chance to train, not because she was sponsored, but because she could pay her tuition from the income from her sewing. and even after graduating from Nasarawa State Polytechnic, she continued the activity, with collaborators (under contract) and apprentices with her. The only challenge may be the cost of renting a room, especially if you intend to move to a high-brow area, but this is not advisable at the « Nine to Fiver » at the beginning of the days, but becomes necessary when one is about to leave paid employment and has gained a few collaborators and apprentices. My wife started a sewing class recently. After graduating, she hopes to later open a seam and manage it next to her soft drink store that she has been operating for over 2 years. The most important thing she needs now is my support, which I have done and will continue. In fact, my mother is a seamstress. With the income from the trade, she then supported the family for several years. It even helped my late father acquire a house in Kaduna that I inherited. The most important aspect for her is that now that she is getting older, she is still an active seamstress.

There is an old man who lives in my neighborhood, who no longer earns a living, without the children @Sight. He was a painter throughout his youth and recently resigned due to a lack of health caused by longer contact with chemicals. It is not difficult for those who are interested to take this step of career or add tailoring skills to their resume, especially in order to reap financial benefits. Normally, it only takes one year of apprenticeship / apprenticeship under the guidance of a tailor / owner, even a « maestro », this period can be longer in the case of a « Nine to Fiver », where such trainings can only take place on weekends, and with the secondary student who can come after school. The theme of this letter is that of two collaborators who, under their direction, had graduated after one year of training and who had served for six months.

Five others are currently on duty, including two high school students who are scheduled to go to school in the morning. Even this informal atmosphere of learning is another way to collect money to manage business, since the owner does not pay salaries at all, but is paid by her employees who are bound by contract and earn between twenty and thirty percent of their jobs (depending on the generosity of the owner), while the rest goes to the first…
